Sailing conditions in Zakynthos

The reason why yacht charters in Zakynthos are so popular is certainly the charm of this place (it is considered the most beautiful in the entire archipelago of the Ionian Islands).

Most importantly, however, the island and its surroundings offer excellent sailing conditions, fantastic beaches and truly friendly waters. This makes yacht charters in Zakynthos a suitable proposition even for novice sailors or for inexperienced crews sailing with children.

How much does a yacht charter in Zakynthos cost?

The date of booking is important, but the date of the cruise itself is equally important. The sailing season in Greece is quite long, so the prices for renting a boat during it can vary greatly. Below are examples of yacht charter prices in Zakynthos:

To operate a yacht in Greece, you must have at least a yacht helmsman license. However, there is no obligation to hold a radio operator's certificate.

It is worth remembering, however, that local law requires that the crew, in addition to the captain, be the so-called co-skipper (he does not need a license), i.e. a person who can handle the boat well enough to bring it safely to the nearest port if necessary. However, does this mean that if you do not have permission, yacht charters in Zakynthos are out of your reach? None of these things!
